Turning One and being a Jax O'Lantern

This is Jax at one year old. He looks so big and so little at the same time.
For Halloween this year, Jaxon was a Jax O'Lantern. He recieved the costume

from his Grandma O, and was the cutest Jax O'Lantern in town!

My goodness!

What an incredibly handsome little guy you have there! I can't tell you how grateful I am that Jax's paternal grandfather's gene pool fortunately didn't get mixed in with Jax's own. Otherwise, it could have been disastrous!

Can't wait to see you all at Christmas! Love you!

In my comment of last night, I MEANT to say how grateful I am that Jax's MATERNAL (not PATERNAL) grandfather's gene pool didn't get mixed in with Jax's own.

Believe it or not I woke up in a cold sweat this morning realizing my error...luckily, I can chalk the whole thing up (and anyone acquainted with me is already aware of this) to the fact that I am an idiot!

I still love you guys, though!
